CBDT extends tax-audit, return filing due-dates

CBDT has extended due dates for filing Income Tax returns and various audit reports. Return filing due date for corporate and transfer pricing cases (for which the due dates earlier were November 30th), is now extended to January 31st, 2021 and for individuals and other taxpayers (for whom the due date as per the Act was July 31st), is now December 31st, 2020. Due date for furnishing tax audit report and TP audit report in respect of international transactions/SDT and is now extended to December 31st, 2020. Please access the press release here.
