GST annual return for FY 2018-19 further extended till 31 December 2020

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has extended the due date of filing annual return in Form GSTR-9 and reconciliation statement in Form GSTR-9C for the financial year 2018-19 till 31 December 2020.  Last month Forum had requested for an extention of date beyond September 30. Pursuant to which the due date had been extended till 31 October 2020. The extension provides much needed relief to businesses and is likely to facilitate tax compliance.  Notification is available here. For further queries, please reach us here.
