Proposed draft of the Development of Enterprises and Services Hubs

The proposed Development of Enterprises and Services Hubs Bill, 2022 seeks to replace the erstwhile provisions governing Special Economic Zones in the country, with an increased focus on integration of global supply and value chains, employment generation, maintenance of manufacturing and export competitiveness, promotion of sustainable economic growth and protection of the environment, among other broad-based objectives. USISPF invites comments/ suggestions on the salient features of this new law from the industry at large, and plans to make suitable representations to take the matter forward.
